Luódiàn is an 3000-year-old Chinese art that inlays shimmering mother‑of‑pearl into jewellery, creating luminous patterns once treasured by royalty as symbols of beauty and good fortune. In this workshop, you’ll learn the basic techniques and craft your own radiant piece to take home – a unique keepsake that connects you to centuries of craftsmanship.

15:00 – Intangible cultural heritage intro to luódiàn art & historical jewellery styles (approx. 30 min)
15:30 – Hands-on luódiàn jewellery making: pattern design, shell cutting, inlaying & polishing (approx. 1 hr 50 min)
17:20 – Work display & group photo

Notes
Preparation: No special preparation is needed. All materials (shell pieces, base metals/wood, tools, adhesives, and finishing oils) are provided on site.
Your finished jewellery piece can be taken home for personal wear or as a handmade gift.
Refund Policy: Full refund if canceled 3 days before the event; non-refundable but transferable after. Full refund for organizer issues or force majeure.
