4. Before You Travel

Do I need a visa for China?

Yes, most travelers require a visa. Currently China has announced Visa Free policy to few countries. It is your responsibility to check the visa policy and obtain the correct visa with a passport valid for at least 6 months beyond your trip dates. For more China visa information, please check China Visa Centre.

Yes. Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory for all our travelers. This is for your own protection, as standard health insurance from your home country typically does not cover you abroad, and medical or evacuation costs in China can be extremely high. You must provide proof of a policy that covers medical emergencies, evacuation, trip cancellation, and personal liability before your trip begins.

We recommend consulting your doctor or a travel clinic before departure for the latest health advice and required/ recommended vaccinations for China.

5. On the Tour

Who will be guiding the tour?

Your tour will be led by our professional guides. They are local experts, knowledgeable in history, culture, and logistics, dedicated to your safety and enjoyment. We offer multilingual guide services depends on your need.

Physical requirements vary. Each tour page has a ‘Physical Rating’ (e.g., Easy, Moderate, Challenging). It is your responsibility to choose a trip suitable for your fitness and health. Please read the itinerary carefully and contact us with any concerns.

The published itinerary is a statement of intent. While changes are rare, we reserve the right to alter it due to unforeseen circumstances (weather, closures, etc.). We will strive to provide equivalent alternatives. Significant changes will be communicated promptly.

6. What's more?

What is your policy on solo travelers and single rooms?

Solo travelers are welcome. For group tours, you can choose to share a room (we will match same-gender roommates) or pay a single supplement for a private room. This supplement is listed on the tour page.

You are responsible for: having correct travel documents, obtaining mandatory insurance, ensuring you are medically fit for the tour, respecting local laws/customs, and following the guide’s safety instructions. You assume risks inherent to travel.
